It was a return comment up grading Nixon. Someone had called Nixon a racist and i wish i would have had the Opportunity to read that letter. But i would like to say Nixon is doing a Fine Job along with most of the political leaders. Sure Here we Are with water Gate and now we re supplying War material to another country that s at War. Open your eyes you War Wor shippers. We re spending billions of dollars a year on defense of our country plus half the world while people Are starving in our own country. We have retarded children and adults living in sub Standard medical Homes along with the crippled and Blind and homeless that need help. Medical help is so expensive most people can t afford it. Yes then we have the Black Brown yellow red White ghettos people who can t afford to live elsewhere. Then of course our Environ ment if we still have one. Was t much left when i went away Oil Slicks Forest fires crop destruction Energy shortage food Short age air pollution and water pollution. The sap of the Earth is waning. But that s not All population growth along with City growth destroying the country. Yes what a Good Job we americans Are doing supplying other countries with weapons to de stroy each other plus sending 50,000 Young american men to their death in the last War. How Many shall we kill this time what a Way to prevent popu lation growth keep up the Good work Amer Ica maybe we can survive another 50 or 60 years maybe what a Happy Joyful life bless the beasts and the Chil Dren. John j. Delillo Wiesbaden Germany no answer to suggestions after two unanswered letters to yes i am turning to the stars and stripes for help. Around 17 aug., i wrote a suggestion in the Neu Bruecke pm and around 6 sept. I did the same in Baumholz Der. To Date i have not received any comments from yes. The problem i have is purchasing slide trays for the Kodak Carousel. Yes does carry the 80-slide tray but for the Small Price of $3.95 each. Well i just ordered and received some Kodak trays from Montgomery Ward in the states. I la bet you cannot guess what the Price was it was $2.47 each. But these trays Are made in the Usa and the trays sold in our yes stores Are made in Germany. The question i asked yes and which i wish you could ask them is Why can t they get their supplies from the states and pass on the extra savings to the Mili tary also ask them Why they cannot answer suggestions or comments put in the boxes in the yes store. Yes i did put my Mil itary and Economy address and phone number on the forms. Capt. Kenneth l. Sack Neu Bruecke Germany editor s note James r. Williams director yes merchandising division said the German Kodak Carousel slide tray was an exceptional buy when yes originally began purchasing it but with the devaluation of the Dollar and the float ing of the Deutsche Mark the Henry Kissinger is the Day approaching when Secretary of state Henry Kissin Ger realizes the perils that face his career or should i say Ca Reers. In the right administration this is the right time or. Kis Singer was the Man who could have brought an importance and effectiveness to the Job that has lessened in status since the Days of Secretary of state Thomas Jef Ferson. Can the Man once referred to As a modern Day Mach Iavelli be finished in his role remember to fellow members of the silent majority just remember one thing while you re sitting there drinking your Coffee Richard m. Nixon did not put this country in the situation it is in now we did. We of the proud silent majority who talk of How terrible the political system has become. Writers Are encouraged to include phone number and Economy address especially if they desire a fast reply. His greatest As world states Man what about his career As a highly respected scholar will his colleagues accept a Man whose judgment close association with the Nixon administration might be questionable at Best oddly enough the Only role he might Salvage is one which most believed he could remain above the politician. Of course the Days of come will no doubt see the american people rejecting personalities in the nature of Richard Nixon. This no doubt will cast a spell on any political aspirations of or. Kissin Ger. At least there is no Consoli Aton is knowing that the current Secretary of state s Fate will be shared by a Man who is willing to sacrifice Twenty five years As a highly respected legislator. This Man is giving it All up for the desk and office of the Man whose legacy will be a construction worker s helmet equipped with a decal of old glory a poster of an american with a gag Over his Mouth and a pile of still soldering american news papers. Maybe those reported ufos will bring us a Leader in Stead of asking to see one. Frederick a. Baker Giessen Germany reference the article on or. As a matter of information the Federal Republic of Germany has established standards for gasoline octane ratings with Reg ular Normal fuel having a rat ing of 91-92 and super gasoline rated at 98-99.
