It is $20 More expensive than the $236 fare Laker will Start offering sept. 26. In moves designed to protect charter airlines and scheduled Low fare service the Board rejected two other Low Cost new York London fares proposed by the major airlines a $299 Advance Purchase fare and a $256 budget fare providing reserved seating on a specific flight. The cab said the Advance Purchase fare was rejected because it was not a competitive response to Laker and was too close to charter fares.
