I could have shipped the car Home with1 no problem he added. I was told i would Cost me about $80 extra to ship it be cause of the extra length. But since my wife did t want it i m Selling it. My three kids really liked it  Barnhill has rendered his taxi serv ices to a local German youth band in Wei Gerstadt taking the 19-member group to concert and has also hauled teen agers of his Church group downtown in the 12-Pas-Senger vehicle. It s funny. I guess people Over Here just Haven t seen this Type of vehicle at least privately owned. I be parked Down town and come out to the car with people gathered All around it. I be really had a Lotof fun with  the car is air conditioned equipped with Power brakes and steering and is in quite Good shape Barnhill says. It has afew rust spots from sitting but the Guy i m Selling it to is going to paint it. It  Barnhill is no stranger to army vehicle sales. They hold sales All the time he said. Once a car is five years old if any thing goes wrong with it the government Sells it. I just bought a 1970 Van for $275. I fixed it up and i m shipping it Back to the states when i leave in four months. People Over Here really Aren t aware of the deals you can get he said. I be bought about six different cars in Hana and Redelheim. I be sold the others to friends. You can really get Good deals. I the government does t sell them to americans they sell them to German junk Deal ers who pay about 50 Marks about $22 the cars used to be sold in spot bids where everyone there puts a bid on a piece of paper and the highest bidder gets the car. But not Many americans were coming so now there Are a lot More retail sales. You can buy a Good running car for anywhere from $125 to $300. Many of the cars Are in inspection condition. It s too bad More americans Don t take advantage of every car i be bought is valued at about $1,000 or More in the Blue Book. You can t beat the Price you pay especially if you Are willing to put a Little work into it Barnhill said he has enjoyed buying and fixing up the cars and reselling them often at no profit but he s going oui of  just Don t have time any More. I Tell people now How to buy the cars and let them do it  but his Best Effort has been with the Limo. That is such a Nice Riding car. It s a Little awkward on some of the Small streets but i Haven t had too much Trou ble.
