The a towners edged bad Kreuz Nach and triumphed Over Hahn to run their cur rent record to 8-1, the panthers of Hanau bested Berlin and Wurzburg the eagles of Nurnberg triumphed Over Pitburg ans Bach and Host Mannheim and the crusaders of Bonn bested shape and Bremerhaven in the port City. The warriors who Haven t lost since the opening week of the season won a close two setter from bad Kreuz Nach at Wei Brucken 15-13 and 17-15, then romped Over Hahn 15-5, 15-2. Strong serving and play by Carol Vancavage Barbara Berry and Rhonda Robinson keyed the wins. We Brucken made it a clean sweep against Hahn and bad Kreuz Nach on its Home course behind Charlene Carter s winning time of 13 35 in the girls meet an Jim Knight s 24 06 in the boys. Lorrie Stuhmiller s setting and Linda Fournet s spiking led Berlin past Wurz Burg 15-11, 16-14. Nurnberg had Little trouble in three straight sets triumphs opening with a 15-4, 15-6 Victory Over Mannheim following that by defeating Pitburg 15-7, 15-9, and wind ing up with a 15-115-0 Blitz of Ansbach. In other action Pitburg trounced ans Bach 15-5, 15-5 before edging Mannheim in a Tough three setter 19-17, 13-15, 15-12. Mannheim toppled Ansbach 15-5,15-5. At Bremerhaven Bonn was taken to three sets but edged the Blackhawk 15-5, 10-15. 15-8. The crusaders also bested shape. 15-9, 15-13. The Host team Defeated the spartans 15-12, 15-13. Stuttgart Augsburg and the Host team All wound up 2-1 at Heidelberg. Stuttgart edged the Host lionesses 15-5, 17-15, after the losers rallied from 14-8 to tie at 14 and 15 in the second set. But the stut garters fell to Augsburg in three sets 15-12, 13-15, 5-15. Then Heidelberg toppled Augsburg in another three setter starting slowly for their 2-15, 15-7, 17-15 Victory sparked by Linda Johnson and Jeanne Danielson. Frankfurt International the fourth team in the meet fell to All three schools 15-5. 15-8 to Augsburg 15,13, 15-10 to Stuttgart and 15-1, 15-13 to Heidelberg.
