Spinks 18, had been ordered to appear last Friday before circuit judge Thomas w. Challis to be sentenced on an assault conviction. His lawyer speculated at the time that Spinks might have forgotten about the court Date in the excitement Over his brother s championship fight with Muhammad Ali Friday night in new Orleans. However police said Spinks told them he did not go to new Orleans and he did not show up in court because he did t have enough Money to pay his Fine.
