In August a cat i had raised from a kit ten disappeared. 1 suspected Dick killed it but i could t prove it. The following week i bought another Kitten. Four Days later that one disappeared. Dick hates cats and i am sure he did away with both of them. I decided not to get another one. A few weeks later we got into an argument about to channels. Dick flew into a rage and knocked me into the Glass Coffee table. I had to go to the emergency room of a nearby Hospital and get 24 stitches in my Chin. That got me to thinking. I decided the Guy must be emotionally disturbed and it was my Job to help him. I offered to pay for a shrink and he agreed to go. After one session he said he was t going Back because the doctor was crazy As a Hoot owl. Finally 1 decided i was the crazy one and made the appointment for myself. It was the Best move of my entire life. I now realize that certain people in this world Are just Plain cruel and they will never work to support themselves As Long As some idiot is willing to take care of them. I also Learned that 1 had very Low self esteem and absolutely no Confidence or i would not have put up with such abuse. It took Only four therapy sessions to see the real picture and kick the bum out. I be never Felt so healthy and Happy in my life. My spouse resided at fort Hood Texas. Upon my arrival we requested 60 Days Early departure for my spouse to arrive in March 1985 instead of May 1985. I walked the a form 4187 through All the channels and it was approved on the spot. Within one week my spouse was Clearing the installation on permanent change of station orders. Upon our arrival in Frankfurt again on a commercial airline we reported to 21st replacement detachment. I am assigned under v corps 3rd support come 8th maintenance in Hanau. However my spouse was assigned to 32nd Aad com 3/ 7 Ada in Schweinfurt. Date of assign ment was March 13, 1985. Per Telephone conversation by 1st personnel come to the department of the army our joint domicile request was approved on March 11, 1985. Yet we Are still approximately 96 Miles apart in Road Dis Tance which does not comply with joint domicile regulations. The suggestion was made by both superiors in each of our units to move Halfway Between the two and commute daily. This would create a hardship on our marriage and our military careers As Well. We Are both the same rank and have the same Mili tary occupational specially. 1 have very successfully completed five years of Active duty with outstanding rat Ings. My spouse has completed eight years of service and is requesting a chapter Dis charge for hardship reason. After february 1988, i have chosen to discontinue my Mili tary career to avoid the hassles the military can cause for soldiers with families. I have a 3-year-old daughter and two step daughters Ages 7 and 5 who Are await ing orders to depart the United states. Right now they Are residing with my Mother in Georgia. I m sending voluntary sup port of $700 a month which is really not enough but it s All we can afford at this time. However not All requests can be approved primarily because of overriding military readiness issues.
