temporary duty to go before an evaluation Board for airman of the he was notified two Days in and he was sent Back to his duty station to get his uniform in Tiptop shape and to study his promotion fitness examination Book so he could be ready monday afternoon he was told he was going to meet a below rezone Biz promotion Board tuesday luckily he was already prepared because he had studied Jar the airman of the Quarter and he was promoted to senior air Man below the the consolidated base personnel office was and he was nominated for his promotion two months earlier than he should have two months another Biz Board was to myself and another airman in my shop were chosen to go before the i was notified the morning before while i was on temporary duty in the other airman was notified the afternoon and he was on temporary duty at Ramstein we both i was on a base where the stars stripes came three Days so i was not up on current it was also an eight hour drive from my i talked to an airman in the same squad but in a different who went up for Biz the same time i was supposed he said he was notified almost three weeks in i Felt cheated because it was a onetime Only when i came Back from i decided to use my Chain of command to find out Why i was not notified a Little i started out with my supervisor and from there went to the supervisors in charge of the they said when they received the notice they let me know i was not satisfied with so i went to the first sergeant who was not in at the time but the Captain so i talked to he said the notice was sent off a week and one half before i was supposed to meet the pro motion i went Back to the shop and explained to them what the Captain told they lets look at the Date on the notice that was received to prove when they were Noti somehow they could not find the no i finally gave up after the whole Point is dont the cos care what happens to the Young airmen trying to make and their careers i know this predicament will not affect the work habits of myself or the other airmen i would just hate to see this happen again to any other airman who is also taking the air Force seriously and is thinking about it As a i would
