Long s touchdown capped a 78 Yard drive that Iowa launched after Michigan state had taken a 31-28 Lead on second string tailback Craig Johnson s 25-Yard run with 4 06 left. Long had passed for Iowa s first four touchdowns. He completed six of seven attempts for 61 Yards to put Iowa into position for the winning score. Then on third and pne from the Michigan state 2-Ynrd line. Long faked a Handoff to tailback Ronnie Harmon who took most of the Mich Igan state defense with him when he dived Over the Middle of the line.
