Unlike previous seasons when an Abacus was needed to sort out the contenders in the last Tew weeks of the season the first three quarters of the season has sorted out the n Al in a fairly orderly manner. Cleveland and Pittsburgh entered sunday s games tied at 6-6 and Cincinnati and Houston were a game behind at 5-7.
