Jordan leads bulls past Hawks from press dispatches Chicago Michael Jordan in his longest stint since returning from a 4/2 month Layoff with a broken foot scored 30 Points in leading the Chicago bulls to a 102-97 Aba Victory Over the Atlanta Hawks saturday. A pair of free throws by Charles Oakley and a Dave Corzine Dunk shot put Chicago up by four Points with 2 28 left. Two free throws by Woolridge with 53 seconds left iced the game. Corzine who came off the Bench finished with 20 Points for the bulls. Domin near Pudup ique Wilkins 28 Points topped Atlanta. In other Aba games Kings 119, suns 100 Sacramento Calif. Reggie Theus had 21 Points and 18 assists As Sac Ramento clinched a trip to the Western conference playoffs by defeating Phoenix. The Sacramento win coupled with Golden state s 107-106 Victory Over the los Angeles clippers put the Kings in the playoffs. The suns shot 86.7 percent from the Field in the second Quarter but cooled off to 50 percent in the third period. Theus led the third Quarter Kings charge with 10 Points. Mike Woodson and Otis Thorpe added 18 Points each for Sacramento. Walter Davis scored 14 of his 20 Points in the first Quarter to Lead Phoenix scorers. Nets 107, kicks 93 East Rutherford . Mike Gminski scored 25 Points Buck Williams added 20 and they combined to key a big third Quarter spurt by new Jersey As the nets handed hapless new York its eighth straight loss. Blues 7, Blackhawk 5 St. Louis Rick Meagher avoided a Check to score from close Range with 16 minutes remaining then added an empty net goal with 81 seconds left giving St. Louis a Triumph Over Chicago that prevented the Blackhawk from winning the Norris division title. Bruins 2, Nordques 2 Quebec Keith Crowder scored his 36th goal with less than six minutes left in the third period to lift Boston into a tic with Quebec. The draw meant the Bruins could Clinch second place in the Adams division and the Home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs against Montreal with a Victory Over Hartford in sunday night s regular season finale. Canadians 4, sabres 2 Montreal Mats Naslund set up three goals to break an nil record for the most assists in a season for a left Wing As Montreal beat Buffalo eliminating the sabres from the Adams division playoff race.
