Wilson topped off her almost perfect Day with her Best race of the Day in the sprint Medley relay where she erased a deficit of almost 100 meters to catch Mannheim s Regina Nolan coming Down the stretch. Both Wilson and Jasler were acclaimed the outstanding runners in the two Day meet. Frankfurt s Ted Mcnamara and Munich s Donna Briggs who repealed As champions in both weights won outstand ing Field performer recognition.  s Steve Moore turned in what might be considered the major upset of the Day when he nosed across i lie finish line maybe an Inch in front of Gic Ssan s Mike har Ris in the 200 meters. In the 100 meters in was just the reverse Harris who had been credited with a 10.4 clocking earlier in the Seison nipping Moore at the wire with a  time.
