Rudd was locked in a Tough Battle forthe Lead with Terry Labonte on Lap 408, trailing Labonte by about three car lengths when the Leader suddenly slowed with a deflating tire. That gave Rudd the Lead for Good with about a 5-second Edge Over Bonnett.
