As is typical of most present Day mate egos my husband waa somewhat put off at the thought of a haad full of permanent wave rods and i could t convince him to take the plunge. Alter six months of gentle hints Well maybe nagging i was still getting nowhere. Finally i called his hair stylist and told her about my idea. She thoroughly agreed that a Little wave would make my husband s hair easier to care Tor and update his image a bit she agreed to independently suggest a Perm to him on his next visit. He came away still somewhat Uncertain but having made an appoint Lemeni for a Perm on his next visit. When the Day came for his Perm he was still somewhat doubtful about the whole idea. I went along to boost his spirits and give encouragement. The hair stylist was Al ready to go when we arrived and before my husband could Back out. She had a dozen of the biggest Perm rods that would lil rolled into the Crown of his hair. He remained apprehensive during the processing period earing that the results would be too curly or too Radical a change. The stylist reassured him and when the rods tinally came out he was relieved the the permed hair had Only a gently curve not a Light curl that the size of the rods seemed to suggest. When the Cut and styling were Complete my husband seemed genuinely pleased. Two weeks later he was converted. The Perm had helped his professional appearance i and kept his hair in place with Only a Subtle change in style. Four months alter the initial Perm my husband got a second Perm which involved More hair and slightly More Curt and All without prompting from me. He likes ii and i love Iii his hair looks Good More olten and with less Effort. I suspect that More women could have this kind of influence in their husband s appearance with Al Lille gentle persuasion. You might want to write a column on a Perm Lor a  just a suggestion.
