Erb Prinzen situated right outside the Schloss front Gate this hotel restaurant operation serves up some very elegant Type Chow at prices that Are not at All outrageous when you consider that the dining room attracts More tourists than the holy shroud. It is a Classy place but informal at the same Lime Wilh customers ranging from Gray suits to jeans to them tight pastel pants that Are popular Wilh Young German women and therefore quite alright by very Vern and me. The restaurant itself is decked out Wilh loads of Wood panelling and chandeliers the tables feature starched Linen cloths and candles and the waitresses Are uniformed in Black Wilh heavy while aprons. Schwet Zingen being an asparagus town and Ilie a trip photo by or Vino Kilor sitting out in the Shade of the old Zum get Len flaunt Al Schwa Lingen if a Fine Way to Chow Down. Season being right very Vern and me wasted no time in ordering up .1 couple plateful of the stuff my buddy going for the traditional spa go with a Wiener schnitzel and spuds on the Side and me settling for a Dialler of Sparge with other fresh veggies. My vegetable plate on the other hand was completely top drawer being a Platter of Sparge with fresh carrots and Brussels sprouts peas and potatoes the whole works lathered Over Wilh ,1 Hollan Daise sauce. We washed All that Down with a couple of Beers then worked a Power play on a matched set of goblets stuffed Wilh fresh Kiwi and strawberries buried under a Drift of ice Cream and . Add in a Little Coffee to lop things off and we Are talking exemplary eats friends. Hotel Erb Prinzen at number 1 Karlsruhe Strasse takes american express and eur cheques. Zum Grinnen Baum a run Down Little place about a Block away from the Palace the Green tree features a comfortable dining Roork a cozy bar and a slew of tables out front for anybody interested in Semi solid eats at fairly reasonable prices. Like several other dozen people very Vern and me grabbed a table outside where the two waiters humping tables both inside Hie restaurant and Oul were darting around quicker than officers wives in a one hour visit to Kalhe Wohlfahrt s. After finally Landing a pair of Eichbaum Beers and some menus ave decided logo for the Sparge again realising that while asparagus will be but a Butler soaked memory about a month from now i decided to try mine with an order of German pancakes this time around. Like $7 for a Jager schnitzel overpriced. Still the decor is Worth a look and the waitresses despite the crowds Are fast and very Friendly. And ours spoke a least four languages. The place is especially popular with older tourists looking for bathrooms and then a Little afternoon cake and Coffee. Clem s tip the iced Coffee featuring chimed espresso Wilh Vanilla ice Cream and lots of other cholesterol. The Schloss restaurant is located in the right Wing of the Palace about 100 Yards from the main Gale. In Good weather the tables outside slay filled All Day Long but there is usually a Nook or two available inside. Very Vern and me give the place two and a half pointy fingers. Ratings 5 b is b e awesome eats. We re talking Paradise on a plate Here. Is a 3 h very line dining. Crack service and memorable food and drink. 2 3 a solid Chow.
