Star search was actually two contests with two separate sets of three judges. The Tirol contest entitled Stow bands displayed the eight Best bands in Usa eur performing Tor 30 minutes each. The second contest show Case had 54 acts competing in 10 categories including vocal and instrumental groups specially group dance and More. Performance time varied from three to seven minutes depending on the category. Judges used a Point system awarding a maximum of 25 Points in each of three categories technical excellence showmanship and interpretation of the material. The show band contest kicked off each of the iwo Days in the afternoon. The Lack of variety throughout the show however was disappointing six of the eight bands performed Lunk soul music. One exception was illusion from Baum older. Winning in second place the group did what a show band should do they put on a show. The musicians not Only performed tight and Well Pumo golfer music but also choreographed their entire 30-minute show. Variety was a finitely no lacking in to show Case portion of the contest from a Bird caller to a classical guitarist All forms of entertainment were represented. One of the highlights was staff sgt. David Maldonado and his assistant wife Cynthia o Amberg who took first place in the specially group category with a magic show. The duo added a touch of humor to their magic to amaze and amuse the audience. Another highlight was the first place instrumental group Silver Spur of Karlsruhe. Opening up the second night this Bluegrass band had the crowd stomping and clapping before Trie performance ended. Marty of the performances on both Days were marred by technical problems.
