A an Irish teen Ager who stowed away 10 Days on a trans Atlantic . Navy destroyer has been discharged from the Hospital where she was treated for an illness that delayed attempts to return her to Ireland. Police in Ireland identified the 16-year-old girl As Suzanne Twomey of Cork. She was released wednes Day night from Rex Hospital in Raleigh n.c., said Mary West a nursing supervisor who did not know what the girl was treated for. Charles Coble jr., an agent with the naval investigative service said travel arrangements were being mad for the girl. He would not elaborate. He said neither he nor Hospital officials knew where she was. Five sailors accused of helping the girl during the voyage aboard the guided missile destroyer Conyngham were being held at the Norfolk naval base authorities said. If charged and convicted the sailors face maximum five years in prison and a Fine of $2,000 for aiding an illegal entry into the United states. Navy and Irish officials said they were trying to get Twomey Back to Ireland As quickly As possible.
