A recount last week showed that Connolly lost he democratic Nomi nation in the sept. Is election. The re count showed Connolly with 14,715 Voles. His opponent got 14,716. Calvin said he would go to court to request that the primary be invalidated and a special election be held to decide the nomination. Jane Malone director of homeless programs for the City s department of human services said All those evicted saturday had been relocated by sunday afternoon. She said the City would sever lies with the shelter operators who evicted the men women and children. People had a place to sleep and dinner last night Malone said. Whatever happens Here in the negotiations no one will go without a place to sleep or some thing to  the City contracts with private shelter operators to provide services for the homeless. Negotiations ended late Friday without a new contract. Operators of about 20 shelters had told their Resi dents Friday that they would have to leave the next morning. Under the expired contract the City paid shelters s13 Aday with a Cap of s2s4 a month for each homeless per son. The contract expired june 30, but both sides agreed to a 90-Day Extension which expired saturday
