Nabs second All around title Central european gymnastics Forbes Kouril Triumph again in All arounds by tract Tanner staff writer Frankfurt ram Stirts Heather Forbes and Heidelberg s Rusha Kouril retained their All around titles in saturday s action at the Central european gymnastics championships held at the Fabrik sports Halle. Forbes closest Competition in earning her second senior optional title came from teammate Lily Pilro Nelli. The Victor scored 33.85 to Petronelli s 33.30. Kouril easily earned the Junior optional title also her second with a score of 35.25. There were Only three competitors in this division. The Battle Between the Ramstein duo of Forbes and Patron Coli went Down to their last round. Forbes Wason the uneven bars and Patron Coli was vaulting. Forbes was up by .45. Patron Coli vaulted and scored an 8.85, Good for a first in that event and to add to the pressure on her teammate who needed an 8.4 to tie. Would a tie be too much to ask for questioned Ramstein coach Lori i Zoas the tension mounted. But it was t meant to be for Patron Coli. Forbes per formed what to the untrained Eye looked like a flaw less routine on the uneven bars. The judges scored her an 8.95, Good for a first placing in the event and the senior title. Patron Coli settled for second. Earlier in the Day she d said this was her last Chance to win the title because her family is moving to California before next season. Last year Patron Coli had to sit out the season when she pulled an Achilles Tendon and was burdened with a cast and crutches. This year she slowly got Back into her sport in november. As she began to fed healthy she joined a German team and feels the coaching there has polished her performances. Ill admit said Patron Coli i be got ten better because of the coaching and because i m More  Forbes and Petronelli arc teammates on the German team also. Last week 1 finished first in my state Rheinland Pfalz and fourth Overall Forbes said. She feels the experience with her German team has Given her a Good gymnastics background but is Quick to Point out that competing with her High school team takes precedence. Another competitor in the Day s events that belongs to a German team is Kouril. The Only thing that kept is l. Emma la Lewis or. Heidelberg s Rusha Kouril. Takes the Junior optional again but even though she s in the Junior division she is judged the same As the seniors and still managed to outscore All of the optional competitors. Next year she will move up to the seniors division and is looking Forward to the Competition. Forbes a Junior this year will be Back to defend her title and realizes Kouril will be a Force to reckon with. When contemplating whether she should gel new trick with higher difficulties Forbes said with a laugh what i la probably gel is second  along with her first on the unc Vens Forbes also scored a first with her 8.80 on the floor. The Small schools title went to shape Wilh a tally of 137.24. The British school of Brussels closed in with a 133.70 and Hahn was third with 121.45. Heidelberg walked away with the juniors big schools title scoring 211.95. Its closest Competition came from defending champions Nurnberg. The British school of Brussels took the Small schools Junior title with 215.85, Hahn was second with 160.30. A ass Scott a.
