College All conference and All America teams arc announced immediately following the comple Tion of regular season schedules and before in bowl games. I Don t plan to announce the All Europe team that quickly but Hope to have All Compi lations completed in time to release the team by the end of november. As always coaches should submit Complete statistics along with had arts shoulders photographs on their outstanding performers. Players who go both ways certainly Are eligible for two Way consideration on the is All Europe team. I also would appreciate comments from coaches on outstanding players from opposing teams. A player must be nominated by his own coach in order to be eligible for All Europe recognition. Eight Man football is still the Vogue in Italy and Spain. The policy Here has been that eight Man football players will not be considered for stars and stripes All Europe recognition. That policy still stands. Eleven Man and eight Man football Are two completely different games and there absolutely is noway to make fair comparisons Between the two to reconcile the statistics in the High scoring eight Man pattern to the i a Man game. I have tried to work out a system whereby a percentage format could be utilized but could not come up with any thing feasible. I realize it May seem unfair to the eight Man football players not to be considered. However unless and until someone comes up with a reliable method of equalizing the statistics. I stand by the Ben Abrams existing policy. Things Looker dismal on the prep predict ing scene Early last weekend. I missed my guess on the first three games reported. But then the pendulum turned and i missed Only two More games and finished with a 20-5 record that brought the log to 31-12-1, up to a.721 Mark for the season.
