The new classrooms arc smaller than those in the school but Parker said most of the classes in the Library will number less than 20 students. West Germany regional officials have been asked to recommend changes to a proposed Homework policy that affects every school in the system. A four Page policy draft directs each school to implement a Homework policy and distribute i to parents teachers and students. The draft states that teachers shall systematically Correct Grade and return assign ments to students but docs not address How often or How much Homework should be As signed. Local school officials must develop a pro Gram to Monitor the Homework policy under the proposal. The system Ide Homework policy comes in response to a request by the advisory Council on dependents education. Caren Thomas a seventh and eighth Grade main teacher at Heidelberg Middle school and Edwin a Lensley. A computer science teacher at lies sen Bligh school. Debra Pencil who teaches chemistry and health at Woodbridge Bligh school completes the Dodds contingent. The four will join about i 50 other teachers in eight week science projects conducted at 13 Energy department laboratories throughout the United states. Teachers will work in their areas of expertise. Each teacher will receive $500 per week plus expenses for participating in the research. Participants were chosen by a panel of re searchers drawn from the Energy department laboratories.
