This year s award is a 4 by 4 Inch embroidered four color commemorative Patch. Individuals will also receive a certificate of participation with the award. The Patch  certificate can be obtained from the american Volk sport association Ava for $3.50. Individuals May take the form on this Page to any Ivy sanctioned event during May  have the participating organization stamp the form As proof of completion. First time participants no longer have to Purchase Ivy do record books. Previously people who did not Purchase in record books at their first walk would lose credit for events  distance until they bought one. Now the do has come out with a Schnupper in do  the Quot Schnupper Quot card allows first time participants to obtain credit for events  Kilometres walked at the first 10 events in which they participate. At the end of the 10th event the individual May redeem the Quot Schnupper Quot by purchasing either one or both regular Ivy record books Green for events  Blue for Kilometres. The current Cost of either Book is 7.50 Marks about $4.50. So  you can take your friends to a vol Smarch allow them to Purchase a Start card for that Day s event  if they want they can obtain the free Quot Schnupper Quot card at All marches. Again this will allow them to obtain credit  continue participating in this program while determining if they want to continue. New participants must still Purchase a Start card either Quot stamp Only Quot or medal  stamp combined at the event As this is the Only Way the Quot Schnupper card will be stamped at the end of the event.
