After thirty some hours of travelling and anticipating hours More i was pleasantly surprised by the reception we received from the people at Torrejon. While the services provided were certainly appreciated the sincere desire to help and obvious sense of Community were a real boost to morale. We often talk about How the air Force family takes care of its own but the Torrejon ladies of the Chapel the cafes salespeople the mar volunteers and those who took their time to bake cookies or fill Goodie bags were living proof it happens. I left Torrejon proud to be part of an air Force made up of people like those of you we met in the hangar of Torrejon. On behalf of the men and women of the 726th tac control so thanks a it. Col.
