The Victory was the fifth straight for the bears 8-1who led 24-3 Early in the second half. The Falcons 3-6, lost their 15th straight on the Road. Chicago comeback Lemuel Stinson who had engaged in a verbal dispute with Falcons comeback Deion Sanders and wide receiver Andre Rison during the week intercepted two Chris Miller passes. His first interception came late in the first half and the bears turned it into a touchdown with Jim har Baugh hitting Davis for 8 Yards and the score. Vestee Jackson also intercepted a Miller pass returning it 45 Yards for a clinching touchdown with 1 28 to play. The Point after failed on a bad snap and Chicago fed 30-17. A 45-Yard pass interference Call on David Tate gave Atlanta the Ball at the Chicago 11, and Miller threw an 11-Yard scoring pass to Rison with 13 seconds left. With less than two minutes to play Stinson intercepted a pass and returned 6 Yards to the Chicago 37. Harbaugh then directed a 63-Yard drive and hit Davis with three passes for 47 Yards including the final one for 8 Yards for a 17-3 halftime Lead. On the opening Kickoff in the second half a fight broke out and Atlanta linebacker Robert Lyles was ejected from the game for coming off the Bench Harbaugh then completed his 51-Yard pass to Davis and three plays later Muster scored to give the bears a 24-3 Lead. Atlanta came Back with a 68-Yard drive with Miller hitting Tracy Johnson with a 5-Yard touchdown pass to Cut the Lead to 24-10. V Harbaugh left the game Midway in the fourth Quarter with a shoulder injury after having completed 14 of 28 for 195 Yards.
