My wife has been on a diet since new years of 1989. The method she chose was advertised by a nationally known diet franchise. We be tried. She is totally out of control. The woman needs psychological  just so you la know Ann Debbie has gone from 235 pounds to 115. In a not sure exactly because that was the last figure she quoted. She is 5 feet 8 inches tall and looks like a Skeleton. Debbie refuses to acknowledge that she has a problem. She dismissed the advice from the five health professionals we have consulted. Her Battle cry is Quot they done to understand. I worked like a dog to take off All that weight and now they re telling me to put it Back  she is now experiencing the symptoms of anorexia net Vosa a swollen legs Ana feet waning muscular strength a Lack of Energy no monthly periods and facial peach fuzz. A a a our health insurance will Only cover $900 of counselling and at $100 a visit it will be used up in no time. But it would be Worth anything i had to come up with if she would agree to get help. Her health is deteriorating rapidly yet she insists the diet Isnit the problem. She says its our marriage. Can you give me a hand Ann i can t just stand by. While my wife Breaks up our marriage and starves herself to death. A Quot crying on the inside dear crying Debbie needs psychological help and she needs it immediately. The woman is mentally ill and envisions herself As still fat despite what the scale says. Call her primary care physician at once and ask him to step in and insist she get counselling from a specialist who deals with eating disorders. She said a Betty is a Lovely girl but she has a Lousy  As a professional musician i can Tell you that one of the most frustrating things about meeting with a prospective Bride and Groom is the statement that begins a have a Friend who.�?�. I can understand that Cousin Betty meant Well but for the Church musician who must work with her it can be a Nightmare As Well As misery for those who must listen to a a not so Good Singer sing i was once in charge of a wedding where a couple of relatives were brought in to sing. I had to spend a great Deal of time teaching them the songs and taping the accompaniment so they could practice at Home. It was awful. Weddings Are enough of a Strain without this added Burden. Most of the time the majority of these sources print a one sided picture of what is happening Over Here. A i am not going to discuss International politics or tactical plans. What i really want to talk about is the great difference in living conditions facilities leadership and How they All lie in to determine our morale. If the bullets were flying we would just be Happy As hell to Call a sandbag Bunker Home. But in the meantime some soldiers Are out in the Sand fighting off scorpions and Camel spiders while other service members Are in air conditioned clean door plumbed buildings with Access to recreation centers snack bars Post base exchanges paved roads porcelain toilets telephones and real freshly prepared food that does no to come out of a rectangular can or Brown plastic Pouch. A i Don t expect total Equality. Everybody knows that the air Force and Navy take better care of their people than the army does. Not every body in he army is help less though. A few motivated army soldiers went out on their own time and found a Telephone to Call Home. Some others went Oul and it ated some real food. Yet others found an air conditioned place to watch a movie. These seekers of a few hits of normalcy did not do anything wrong or go any place off limits. They were How Ever. I done to need to say what company battalion or division l am in because i am sure there Are More people who Feci the same Way throughout saudi Arabia no matter what their unit. Why can to we be treated fairly throughout the services Why does the army use the Rule that if one Soldier is miserable by Golly we re All going to he miserable except for division and corps stall ?. I Don t want to die in a War in a foreign country and have the folks Buck Home think that my Iasi meal was a Burger King whopper. As a German living in the catchment area of gun Fenohr i have often experienced that americans seem to naturally expect the natives to speak their language without showing much Effort to learn the language of the Host country themselves. I also find it striking that it seems to be common to judge a country by the Post you Are stationed at i have been to the United states twice each time to several different states yet i do not think i  the position to come to a final conclusion. There Are some Basic differences Between the German and american culture . At this time there is no Market for baggers Over Here and the charge for bags is due to the fact that we try to i am writing this letter in reference to when operation desert shield ends when All those soldiers who were sent to serve and were willing to die for this great country return from the front. Some of those Brave soldiers who went without complaining will have orders waiting for them stating they Are not Good enough to make a career of the army. We g e r mans try to adjust to it by bringing along our own bags or baskets. Needless to say that we often forget them but then we do ask for one. I do not deny that this country might not have All the comforts of the u.s.a., but it has a very Well developed system of social Security and education. Ai the moment our Economy is booming and if you ask me All these things Are vital and make Germany not Loo bad to live in. I believe that if you really take sonic Lime you will discover that Germany has Nice things to see and Many Beautiful places to go to. You can make your stay into an exciting and interesting adventure an experience you can take Back Home with yours so often it All depends on what you make out of ii.
