As my experience has been limited to elementary schools my remarks Are directed to the proposals As they would affect elementary schools and not secondary institutions. With the single exception of attendance in International schools none of the other options suggested a Overly Long bus rides and or correspondence courses a Are in the Best interest of the students. Recommendations that elementary schools be limited to enrolments of 100-plus, Are purely Cost cutting measures. They Are made without regard to what May be Best for Dodds students. Such implementations Are made by no educators in a non educational setting . The comptrollers office in the department of defense. This is not to imply that Quality education does not exist in Large schools on the contrary. However the facts of the matter Are that some of the very Best teaching some of the very Best learning and some of the very Best educational experiences that Many Dodds students Ever have take place in schools of less than 100. This is True throughout the worldwide Dodds system. Quot by virtue of their Small size these schools Are Able to provide More individual attention demonstrate greater flexibility in scheduling and often better provide for the needs of the individual student.
