In other games played earlier Hahn edged Ramstein 15-14, Ramstein clobbered Aviano 21-12, Aviano slipped by Alconbury 10-9 and upper Heyford clipped Alconbury 13-11. Apr Monica Seles returned to Tennis thursday night with a match so easy it raised nary a Grunt from the worlds no 1 women a player. Seles needed just 42 minutes to defeat Andrea Leand 6-0, 6-2 in her first match since mysteriously withdrawing from Wimbledon five weeks ago with what has since been described As Shin splints and a stress fracture in her left leg. Seles 17, exhibited no problems moving on the court in the second round match in the path Mark classic. She occasionally dashed from Side to Side when Leand managed to keep the Ball in play and never once struck her own leg with her Racquet on the serve the reason she gave for the Onset of the Shin splints.
