After Albert Juarez flied out Steve Hall and Stone hit consecutive singles with Hall moving to third. A Herider then made Jose Luna his 10th strikeout victim and Stone stole second putting both runners in scoring position. But Chris reams killed the threat with a Fly out. Kmic blew its third Opportunity to score in the sixth. After a Hodges single Sachs hit a fielders Choice which forced Hodges. He then moved to third on a two base wild Pickoff throw. Brown then grounded out and Sachs was gunned Down at the plate for out number three. In the seventh Kmic loaded the bases with two out but Donnelly struck out to end the inning. After retiring Kmic in the top of the eight Stone struck out. Herider then gave up his Only walk of the game to Luna which proved costly. Reams hit a bunt single which advanced Luna to second setting the stage for Jamie Mcclellan a game winning double to end the contest. Hall then hit a grounder to Short Stop Brainard who attempted to get the running Rivera at third but Palacek dropped the Ball. Luna then singled to left Field and the Ball got by Herider allowing both Rivera and Hall to come in to tie the game. Kmic regained the Lead in the Bottom of the inning. Bill Sunderland led off with a double and Brian Carey walked and stole second. A wild pitch brought Sunderland across to make it 3-3. Pitburg tied the score in the fifth with its last run on a Luna walk a sacrifice and a single by Mike Payne. Kmic then took the drama out of the game erupting for four in the fourth and seven in the sixth to ice the title. A a Pitburg pressed us a lot and they came out like winners a said winning coach Dave Gardow.
