With the proper Kennel training and patience these problems can be corrected. I adopted a wonderful Little dog no one wanted. A a Susie was scheduled to be destroyed. After three months of perfect behaviour this dog did $3,000 damage to my Home in four hours. My veterinarian advised me to keep Susie in a Kennel when she could t be supervised. I tried it and concluded that it was t fair to her. A Friend offered to take the dog but a week later a a Susie was found running in traffic. I now have three options 1. Return her to the shelter and risk her being destroyed or adopted by someone who May beat her because of her destructive behaviour. 2. Muzzle her so she can roam free in the House but she would not be Able to eat or drink. 3. Properly Kennel her and work with her until this problem is resolved. Ken Eling is not a permanent solution. It is a tool to Correct behavioural problems. Most dogs voluntarily go into the Kennel when the door is open.
