The National weather service reported that Bob s maximum sustained winds were near 115 Mph and were not expected to diminish As the storm moved North. More storms developed along a cold front crossing the Middle Mississippi Valley from Eastern Nebraska through Missouri to Lake Michigan. Showers and thunderstorms developed along another cold front from Southeastern Texas to Central Mississippi. Rain also fell in the upper Ohio Valley the lower great lakes Region and Maine. Temperatures were generally in the 80s East of the Rockies and reached into the 90s from sout Central Texas to Kansas. Readings were in the 60s across much of Minnesota and Michigan. Temperatures were in the 70s and 80s in the West with readings in the upper 50s and 60s on the Pacific coast and in the upper 90s or above 100 degrees in the southwestern deserts. The Low for the lower 48 states was 35 at West Yellowstone Mont. A unseasonably cold air was expected in Michigan and Eastern Wisconsin with highs reaching into the 70s throughout the great lakes Region. Hot weather with highs in the 90s was forecast for the South. Highs in the 90s also were predicted for much of the West coast. The Central  of the country was expected to reach highs in the 80s.
