In be always been a pet Lover but after so Many Long deployments with no notice and so much experience with life overseas As a Soldier in a convinced keeping a pet overseas is the worst thing you can do to an animal. Life is Tough enough for a Soldier who has to work Long hours in Adverse conditions. But to ask an animal to wait endless hours at Home for its master before it can go out and relieve itself to have to go up and Down four flights of stairs in the Middle of the night to have to share a tiny plot of grass with 20 other families or to be cooped up in a tiny apartment that is uncommonly cruel. Soldiers must always be prepared to leave at no notice to risk life and limb in the defense of their country. Neo will take care of a family but not a pet. What a to happen to that faithful companion hell be abandoned and alone a sick with grief and longing for his masters touch. But that will just get worse. What if the master deploys hell wait hours then give in to Mother natures Call in shame. Hell wait Days before he Breaks All the rules and forages for food. Finally the pitiful animal will starve to death a miserable and alone. I would love to have a pet myself. It s been years since in be Felt the warmth of a faithful dogs love.
