Unlike what has been broadcast on arts and in the stars and stripes everything is not going smoothly. As a matter of fact nothing is going As planned if it was planned at All. It is True that in the area of transportation shipping of household Good improvements have been made. However the areas of orders housing Money fund Sites and a dates All Lack the clarity needed for units to Complete accurate preparation for moving or drawing Down. So Many have said that the goal or the Mission of this reconstruction of forces is to take care of the soldiers and their family members and still be Able to maintain a High level of readiness. Boy does t that sound great. Unfortunately this is not the Case. Units such As mine Are being forced to move to another location. While some soldiers Are Happy to make the move and deem it a Challenge others Are satisfied where they Are. Their families Are settled into housing children arc in school and spouses have jobs. I am not complaining about being forced to move. I personally View it As a Challenge. However i am complaining about the system and How it is set up to handle these situations. I can Tell you that at the battalion and brigade level the concern for soldiers is overwhelming. I am a member of the movement task Force and am very aware of How the senior leadership feels. Concern for soldiers welfare is definitely a very High priority. I am fed up with the bureaucracy of people above the brigade level. It seems As though there is a lackadaisical attitude at the Usa eur level about unit moves and the welfare of the soldiers. Whenever Usa eur must be contacted to Aid us in our move Miles of red tape must be waded through to receive even the slightest assistance. Is the system working for or against the Soldier a 1st it. Yes i am free to not read Joe Bob Briggs but i feel about this column the Way any Black person would feel just knowing that something was devoted to reducing their whole race to nothing but playthings and punching bags for White men. Some of my favorite clients those whom i never would have suspected of such negligence have posed moved after taking a ride out in the country with fido or boots. Once again this amazing individual has put on a spectacular season another no hitter numerous double figure strikeout games those one two three hitters numerous Complete games or at least seven to eight Strong innings and of course those losses by one or two runs. Each season the same. 1 guess it Wasny to anything special. After All he did miss a couple of games because of a bad shoulder Back. He did take himself out of a couple games in the seventh and eighth innings because of pain after already throwing eight to 10 strikeouts and leading. Nothing special. After All he is Only 43 years old. Not washed up yet and he still has seasons left in him. T seems every Day i read of a child being killed. 1 am especially appalled Over the air Force sergeant who killed his 4-month-old baby and his punishment was Only six months confinement and one rank lost.
