A judges life term was probably reasonable since his life would last around 10 to 15 years after appointment if that Long. I believe that 10 to 15 years would be a reasonable length of time to be a judge. Also i think the population would rather elect our justices As we do at the local level. I feel we All have enough awareness to decide if a Man woman has the requirements to make important decisions that affect our lives. To Label and group Alt men in the same category is both unfair and biased. I lived in the Barracks for seven of the eight years i have been in the military. 1 am Happy to see the single Soldier finally being Given the same opportunities As the married soldiers. If this writer believes that Only the single Soldier gets drunk and has women in his living environment she is seriously out of touch with reality. There Are also women who get drunk act unruly and have men in their rooms past the allowed visitation hours. To assume that All men done to care about lowered rank or article 15s is a serious misconception. Since she does not live in the Barracks she is not an authority on what goes on there. Why should someone who chooses not to marry be any less trusted with privileges that most americans take for granted 1 say three cheers to command sgt. Maj. That is a big lie. My husband went twice to put in All the paperwork and to talk to the people in charge. He even had new jobs he could Start on right away. I wrote two certified letters with hardship arguments to 1st personnel come. They Don t even think it is necessary to write me Back. The army does not care about families and their problems. They take our husbands and Send them to the War no matter if it is one Day before Christmas or How much their children suffer psychologically. Now they want to Send us to the states without regarding our very specific problems which would be reason enough to let us stay Here. The problems caused in any military Community Are not All caused by single soldiers. Single soldiers have been Short changed for too Long. The army has provided families with pretty Nice housing so Why begrudge single soldiers the same thing if there Are growing pains with these changes there will be changes in policies so whereas the problem you ought to live in the Barracks awhile then maybe you would understand what life is really like for single soldiers. Upon my move into the Barracks 1 was stunned about the Lack of privacy becoming subject to inspection and basically being told what to do. How dare another adult assume the right to Tell me whom i can see when i can see him or her or How much alcohol i am allowed to possess As for the recent writers comment about a a lady a place a my Barracks Are 50 percent women. How and Why would you want to keep women out of the Barracks when that is their Home for 24 or 36 months we have had coed floors in our building for the past three years and have had Only two incidents of sexual misconduct both of which were investigated prosecuted and resulted in the conviction of the perpetrators. I have had female soldiers both a pc riots and subordinates who done to deserve to have their a a place determined by anyone other than themselves. They Are adults and should have the right to do whatever they please in the privacy of their own living area. As for the writers religious comments she obviously does not respect the rights of those who do not worship the same Way she does. I will not have religion dictated to me by anyone As is my tight under the Constitution that t have sworn to support and defend. So when a stranger can decide How your House is to be run who can visit and at what hour How much of any particular substance you can possess How your underwear drawer looks then feel free to condone the loss of your rights.
