A 12-year-old in Chicago was electrocuted when she touched a downed Power line police said. About 54,000 Chicago residents and about 157,000 suburban residents were without electricity late wednesday said Michael Kelly of the Commonwealth Edison co. The Utility hoped to have All Power restored by thursday afternoon. Several thousand customers in the Peoria area also lost Power.
