Stanley began his most recent journey last school year in the second Grade classes of teachers Connie Williams and Elizabeth Mott. On his travels Stanley ventured 65 feet below sea level in Cozumel Mexico and thousands of Miles into space aboard the Columbia. Ashley had sent her Stanley to her aunt Lois Thompson Kastner of Winter Park Fla. Stanley with help from Kastner wrote to Ashley sharing adventures of being laminated and taken to Mexico on vacation. Students can use the process for applications to up to 12 of the 400 colleges about a dozen of which waive application fees for College link users. The students store the information on a computer disk and mail the disk to a processing Center which forwards the information it contains to the students chosen colleges. The service waives its $30 fee for students who can to afford it. Between 10 percent and 15 percent of College link users were granted waivers Paxton said.
