Brod Erlos Angeles times Washington vice president Al Gore said sunday that the Glinton administration will announce a number of Steps this week to trim government spend ing starting with the White House budget. Gore and other top officials said that no final Deci Sions have been made on the president s Overall eco nomic plan which will be announced in a speech to Congress on feb. 17. The plan will include budget cuts tax increases and new spending to stimulate the econ omy and create jobs officials have said. But Gore said on Abc s this week with David Brinkley that some initial actions will be announce this week to eliminate wasteful and unnecessary and we re going to take on the sacrifice ourselves first of All Gore said referring to the White House staff you re going to see some announcements.
