At 25, Lynne s seen a lifetime of ups and Downs rejection by country radio stations after being touted As the next big Star a marriage and divorce and a brutal family tragedy she Calls the Accident that left both her parents dead in a murder suicide. Temptation is her first Effort since seizing Complete creative control of her career. It is a daring foray which Lynne describes As doing a country Lyric Irving Berlin style. To Bob wills no wonder she took her time after leaving epic records in january 1992 to sign with another Label. I Don t think it d be done on any other Label not in this town Lynne said. I think it would be adventurous for any Lynne is not someone who s Ever had to beg for a record Deal. Her agreement with epic was sealed the Day after she appeared on a Nashville now show on the Nashville network at age 18. The next Day four Nashville record labels offered deals based on the performance. But Lynne says interference from record executives caused her to leave before fulfilling her Promise. Whatever three albums on epic went nowhere. Now Lynne says she Calls the artistic shots. I do my version of country music Lynne said. I was raised on Western swing and pop big band 40s music the Mills Brothers and so she says she found like minded support from songwriter Jamie o Hara formerly of the o Kanes now pursuing a Solo career and producer Brett Maher.
