The controversy involves a third place finish by cheerleaders from Oesterberg High school in the Netherlands in dodos Small schools . The team ended up in third place instead of second after a team member fell while the squad was moving into a complicated formation during its routine thurs Day said Deborah Wertz cheer leading coach at Gies sen High school in Germany who was one of six judge for the event. The judges and audience then heard someone in the now broken formation say shit shit shit Wertz in a move she said other judges supported recommended the Oesterberg squad s  recommendation was protested by Oesterberg coach Iris Cole one of the event coordinators and the judges ultimately decided to drop the squad from Sec Ond to third place. Although the cheer leading Competition is sanctioned by Dodds it is not conducted in the same manner As boys sports such As basketball or football.
