Big universities offer pro Grams which attract Fame publicity and the pro scouts. Leu head coach Charlie Mcclendon says his school has been actively recruiting Black athletes since the late 1960s. A Kansas Frank Broyles reports his school has been having More Success in luring Black athletes. And Tennessee which began actively recruiting Blacks in 1966, now has 16 Black players including a Star named Condredge Holloway. Any big University can get any kid it wants says Joe Gil Liam sr., assistant coach at top ranked College division ten Nessee state. The alumni Are pressuring coaches to win. They Are telling him to get Black play ers in order to win. Eight nine 10 years ago we d have had Wilbur Jackson who s now at Alabama. Or maybe Grambling or Florida am would have got him. Now we re forced to find the Diamond in the rough. We have to find a body and train  what Gilliam and Many other Black coaches say is that the major universities Are going after the proven Black athletes who can Start right away like Jackson or Holloway. About the Only Black player we can get now is one who maybe because of his attitude his Black awareness simply wants to attend a Black school says Gilliam whose son Joe jr., is a quarterback for the Pitts Burgh Steeles in the National football league. There was a time Tennessee state had the Best athletes in  Munich Kegler loses bid for perfect game Munich Germany Al Henderson coming within one pinot rolling a perfect game fired a 279 total for the highest game rolled this season at the Mcgraw Bowling , a teacher at the Munich american High school opened with nine straight strikes.
