Carter nipped Auter Huis at the tape in finishing in 11 58 and Wei Brincken won the dual meet 23-34.in the boys Competition Karlsruhe s Chuck Schwarz set a record Over the four mile layout that will be will be the site of the Germany championships oct. 29. Detoured the 4-mile layout in 21 06. Cutting four seconds off the record set by Frank Furt s Ricky Perez Only last  took team laurels 25-36. Johnson started in the Middle of the pack As Heidelberg s entire team broke quickly to the front. She worked her Layup and took the Lead at the three Quarter Mark and the rest the race was a nip and tuck Battle Between Johnson and Heidel Berg s Debi Dassonville. Perkins was timed in 23.36, another record for him this  also won the boys Competition with 36 Points. A town coach Wayne Sabin split his squad into two teams for the second straight week and the White team was second with 49  at Hanau Matt Bradach paced a 1-2 3-4 Baum older finish As the bucs whipped Hanau and Hahn in a triangular meet. Kaiserslautern s Roehr established re cords of 415 pounds in Bench press 500 in dead lift and 1267 2 total pounds in the super heavyweight class Over 242 pounds Jon Saint won trophies for the Best lifter in class Best squat lift Best dead lift and est Overall lifter. Frank Furt s Bridget Gauer walked away with the girls race beating Wiesbaden s Pat Morin by 15 seconds with a 15 22  s Monique Lauffenburger and Pat Lane finished 1-2 in a triangular meet at is but the Host raiders got 34-5 finishes from Shona Maclachlan Norene Murphy and Midori Kohara and had five in the top10 to win team honors with 30 Points. In the Spain regional Rota White swept four straight matches to win the Champion ship behind All tournament players katrina Clemenger and Dawn Roe. Zaragoza wound up 3-1 in the tourney while Rota Blue Torrejon red and Torrejon White were All 1-3. The champions Defeated Zaragoza 15-11,15-11 in the showdown match of the round Robin tourney. Other Rota White victories were 15-5, 15-4 Over Rota Blue 15-9, 15-11over Torrejon White. With 41 Points. Zaragoza s Greg Young and Torrejon s Connie Willigrod won the boys and girls title respectively in the Spain Dod Doeur championships at Zaragoza.
