Propp tied it la for the Wales at the 17 56 Mark when he scored from the crease Over Moog who had replaced Fuhr in goal. Montreal s Mats Naslund swept the puck across to Boston s Ray Bourquc who look a 35-Footcr. Moog made a Chest High save before Propp poked in the rebound from the left Side. The Wales conference then took a 2-1 Lead at the 4 45 Mark of the third period on a goal by Quebec Center Peter Stastny. Just moments before Hartford s Syl vain Turgeon had blown a breakaway shot when the puck got tied up in his skates Justin front of the goal. Turgeon playing Only because of an in jury to the whalers Ron Francis then redeemed himself when he collected the puck 10 feel inside the Blue line and dropped a pass to Stastny. The Quebec Center blasted a 15-footer past Moog. The Campbell conference then tied the game on a goal by Gretzky with 17 09 left in regulation. The Edmonton Center first took a shot that hit the Posl and teammate Paul cof Fey carried the puck from being the net and fed it to Gretzky who scored from the left Side of the Slot. Propp s second goal of the game on a Power play made it 3-2 in favor of the Wales conference at the 17 38 Mark. Propp had taken a pass from Montreal s Larry Robinson before scoring the go ahead goal. Dale Hawer Chuk then tied it at 3-3 for the Campbell conference with a rebound shot with 43 seconds left in regulation. Chicago s Denis Savard had taken a pass from Coffey and shot from the left Side. It was blocked by Bob Froese and Hawer Chuk standing to the goaltender s left knocked in the rebound. Jim Mcmahon. You go through a season like that and when you get it Over with you have to come right  Mcmahon said he enjoyed most of super bowl week despite a bomb threat and publicity surrounding an incorrect report that he called the women in new Orleans  you do things with the Media to keep your own sanity he said.
