Vii corps using its four division win ners from the earlier sprint race was a shoe in to win the 10.6-Kilometer team relay. Only two other teams 21st support come and 26th support group entered the relay. The 21st team took second but was Over 22 minutes behind the winning time of 48 30.62. Frenette led off the relay with a 12 52.59 clocking. She was followed by Dodson in 11 37.55, Skinner in 11 54.07 and Sapp in 10 06.42. The relay times were All considerably slower than in the sprint even though the course was the same. A storm that started during the first race dumped a lot of Snow on the course. The other commands entered Here setae and v corps did not enter the relay because they lacked the required on racer from each of four different divisions. Setae has a deep and talented men s open team which swept fourth through i oth places but no skiers in other divisions. V corps could have challenged Vii corp with a relay team of Rudesill seniors run Ner up Marty Knorr and open skier Tim Fisk but it lacked a masters entrant. Fisk who will be a Strong favorite in the Usa eur Alpine even Slater this week clocked 8 42.06 for the third Best time. He was followed in the open division in fourth and fifth by John Harrison and Thomas Lingle of setae. They were limed in 8 45.73 and 8 58.64, respectively.
