Scesniak 45, coached at the mid american conference school for three seasons posting an 8-25 record. University officials said Scesniak col lapsed while exercising at Dix stadium Kent state s Home Field and was taken by paramedics to Robinson memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Scesniak took on the Kent state Job after serving As an offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin. He also was an offensive line coach with the National football league s new York giants in 1979. He played College football at Iowa state from 1960 to 1963, winning three varsity letters As an offensive guard. Foster leaves Lamar Houston Pat Foster who guided the Lamar cardinals to 135 Vic tories in six seasons has signed a four year contract and will succeed Guy Lewis As head basketball coach at the University of Houston school official announced tuesday. At Lamar Foster built a record of 135-48. His 1985-86 team finished 19 11. He took the cardinals into postseason play for six straight years and ranks among the top 10 Active Mcaa Divi Sion i coaches in career victories.
