She participated in track and Field and some Tennis although she con fesses that she hated Tennis. I did t Start to take the sport seriously until 1972, when i took up the Racket and practice the sport every Day for three  Tennis for Hunter is not just a physical Booster but a mental pick me up. Tennis is 80 percent mental. I have a tendency to Analyse everyone and every thing on the  however she rarely loses her grip on the c9urt. Sometimes. I fall into a self pity Mode said Hunter but it jus makes me play  Hunter s main advantage is her fore hand. She is working to strengthen he backhand but she says it s erratic. A Strong feminist. Hunter believes unequal rights. Attitudes need to change she stated. The rate of women coming into the military is dropping. There is a need for open mindedness. 1m an  however Equality is not the Issue on the court. Hunter is out to win. Starting wednesday Hunter was participating in the Safe tournament in Garmisch. The tournament will last until aug. 3. She entered the tourney looking for her 16th title. Motherhood is a Long rally for Hunter her sons Mark and Kirk or. Seem to want to follow in their Mother s footsteps. Hunter believes that her Success in Tennis would not have been possible if it was t for the support of her husband her commander and the department of morale welfare and recreation.
