Keilholz is a kayak enthusiast from Bamberg Germany. He spent three hours battling the churning current of the Regnitz River recently trying to go Over a dam and through a lock All of it upstream. He attacked the River straight on then from one Side then from the other. The River fought Back with swirls and currents snatching his Light Crft and flinging it Back downstream or capsizing it. Every once in a while after being upended three or four times Keilholz paddled to Shore dragged the kayak ashore and emptied it. J then he d shove off for another round. A group of children cheered and jeered from a Bridge. He never made Keilholz said. I never had a Chance. I knew the when i went out.
