The win was the fifth straight for the Bucks who Are 8-0 against the Western conference. Expansion Miami which has lost 11 games by six Points or less fell to 3-31, worst in the Aba. Capitals stretch Streak to 7 with 5-3 Triumph by the associated press Landover my. John Druce Dale Hunter and Mike Millar scored Sec Ond period goals As the Washington capitals extended their unbeaten Streak to seven games with a 5-3 Victory Over the Edmonton oilers Friday night. Druce broke a 2-2 tie and put the Capi tals ahead to stay with a goal 7 47 into the period. Hunter made it 4-2 with 2 22 left in the period while the capitals enjoyed a two Man advantage and Millar added a Power play goal with 43 seconds left. Craig Redmond and Glenn Anderson had first period goals for the oilers who lost their second straight and Craig Mac Tavish scored at 7 55 of the third period to pull Edmonton within 5-3. Washington got first period goals from Bengt Gustafsson who scored his fourth Short handed goal this season and Kelly Miller. Washington goalie Pete peelers extended his personal unbeaten Streak to eight games going 7-0-1 during that Span. Washington improved its record to 5 0-2 Over its last seven games while out shooting the oilers 35-14. The capitals Are unbeaten in their last 11 Home games going 9-0-2 since nov. 25. In other games Friday islanders 5, devils 3 East Rutherford  Rob Dimaio called up from the minors less than a week ago scored his first nil goal Midway through the third period to give the new York islanders a Victory nil Roundup Over new Jersey. The Victory allowed the islanders to break a three game losing Streak and was for the first time in 11 Road games this season against Patrick division foes. The islanders were 0-9-1 going into the game. Dimaio took a drop pass from Randy Wood in the right face off Circle took one step and beat devils goalie Sean Burke with a wrist shot High to the stick Side at9 24. Kelly Hrudney made the goal stand the rest of the Way making several Tough saves including one in close on Doug Brown with about three minutes to play. Hrudney was spectacular throughout making 40 saves and Bryan Trottier iced the game with an open net goal 36 seconds from the end. Billy Smith played the last three seconds after Hrudney and the devils John Maclean were ushered off the ice after receiving major penalties for fighting with three seconds left. Jets 3, canucks 1 Vancouver British Columbia  a Lynnik scored five minutes into the third period As Winnipeg snapped a six game Road wingless string with a Victory Over Vancouver.
