I am amazed and saddened bythe Lack of sensitivity of some of my friends and relatives. I still hear remarks such As people who get aids deserve it. They should t have been engaging in unnatural and immoral  when i see my brother lying on the Couch weak and Ema dated i wish that i could take his pain away. I feel so sad and Hel Pless because there is nothing i can do. I Don t think about his sexual encounters and won Der who his partners were. I Don t speculate about whether or not he was a drug addict. I Only see person i love who is suffering and my heart goes out to him. 1 still hear people telling aids jokes. This disease snot funny. To joke about it is cruel. Does the person telling those jokes realize that a member of his or he audience might have someone very dear who is dying from this hideous disease aids is becoming so Preva Lent that soon everyone in this country will be related to someone who has it. It sickens me to Sec hard working soldiers far fro Home in a Remote place living under these conditions because of budget cuts Naf recently spent thousands of dollars profit from different establishments in the Worms Community to add on to the club an addition Well Nee Dedas the club s main office robbed c4/1 of needed space in their building but they also spent thousands to build a worthless bbl pit which the soldiers there resent a lot. I realize that Naf funding is separate from .army funding. But i was also taught by Naf that our main priority above All else is to serve the Soldier Sand their families. The main Issue is this if the . Army is so Busy spending thousands of dollars on nuts and bolts and toilet scats that the very daily needs of its soldiers like a decent building to House them in go unnoticed and if Naf and other agencies whose main goals arc to serve the Soldier scan spend thousands of dollars on useless construction who is going to really care for All these gis who live in rat shacks i m sure there arc other soldiers living in conditions just As bad. C4/1 is not alone. Why can t Naf and the . Government put their Money together and give the working Soldier what he really needs where it s really needed.
