And what could be better than that you be done More Good today than you will Ever know. The quietest room in Tow they have been expecting you. They knew that eventually you d show up. It won t be possible for youth know what is happening so i m going to take the Liberty of filling you in. The beginning for you will be when you stagger to your car. The beginning for them will be when a Bulle tin goes out on the police radio reporting the location of a serious Accident with instructions to proceed  you won t hear the sirens. The ambulance and the police car will arrive together. They will Check you Over and pronounce you dead. A few curious Motorist who heard the crash will Stop their cars and walk Back to look at your broken bloody body. Some of the will get sick. The ambulance Driver will Roll out a leather covered Stretcher. The attendant will stuff your hands under your Belt and grab you under the arms. The Driver will take hold of your legs. You will be placed on a Stretcher and covered with a Blanket. They will drive you to the Coroner s office where Deputy Coroner will wheel you Over to a big scale. He will remove the Blanket shake his head and say an other  your clothes will be Cut off with scissors. You willbe weighed and measured. The Deputy Coroner will make a record of your injuries cover you up again and wheel you to a Small room with White tile Walls. There Are hoses in that room. Traffic victims Are almost Al ways a bloody mess. You will be cleaned up As much As possible an moved to a Long Hall with several stretchers lined up against its Pale Green Walls. In that Hall Are 41 crypts. Fit has been a slow evening you will have a Stretcher and a crypt All to yourself. But if it s Christmas new year s or memorial Day weekend you May have lots of company. They will go away and leave you there in the quietest room in town. In an hour or so they will come Back and move you again. You will be placed behind a Large Glass window so your wife or your husband or your parents or Friend can identify you. You won t see the agony and pain in their eyes and it s just As Well. Nor will you hear the screams and sobbing when they lower the Sheet and ask is this your husband wife son daughter brother sister Friend As i was saying they Are waiting for you the police the ambulance Crews the coroners at the mor gue and the morticians. I feel itis an informative newspaper but i am getting tired of Reading negative articles. Why can t the stars an stripes print some positive articles once in a while also i think your letter Section is Good. It allows threaders to express their opinions and complaints. I would like to add that i am also tired of Reading Small ridiculous complaints about cafes. If these people had legitimate complaints they would also have solutions this brings me to the essence of my letter. I would like to say that i am an american and proud of it. As a proud american i cannot understand Why the Ameri can people blame our government for everything. Every Day i hear someone saying Don t worry about it the government will take care of  or Why did t the government Tell us and the All Tim favorite Why does t the government do something about it i would like to know first who these people think they Are it is my understanding that we the people Are the government. I can appreciate the fact that not everything our government does turns out in the right Way but i a compelled to believe that everything our government does is in the Best interests of the american people. Why can t the american people simply Praise the accomplishments of our government and quit complaining about the mistakes the american people must remember that mistakes will be made and that we will learn from them. I know there will always be people who Are going to complain. The Only sensible reason Why the american people blame our government is because they cannot accept the responsibility of blame. Every Day you can see or hear blame being placed on someone else. In Thi Scase the american people blame their insecurities on their government. If the american people would Start supporting and Stop complaining perhaps our govern ment could get More accomplished. Airman 1st class Kirk n. Col Ron Rainville it May interest your readers to know that there Are less than 600 dual component officers like Rainville who concurrently hold Reserve commissions or warrants under a 600-39. They Are among the most educated soldiers in the army and Are required to maintain educational proficiency in Bot grades. Many of them Are stationed in Europe and most Are Vietnam veterans like Rainville whose skill the army can ill afford to waste. Caught in a bizzare "catch-22" situation Many of these men received direct commissions but Are denied Active duty in their officer status due to negative interpretations of various quirks in regulations. I feel that he is confusing the Issue and going totally against his goal. The Las line in the statement Horowitz handed to Gary Stoll Man stated that the gun he was holding was a harmless toy. A Daisy by pistol can hardly be considered harm less or a toy. It is a replica designed to shoot a Low Power projectile. I was raised to treat All weapons toy or real with caution. All Daisy by guns Are potentially dangerous. If you read the package it comes in it Tell you that the product is to be used Only under adult supervision. I find it disgusting for a journalist with 22 years of experience to pull a stupid stunt As he did. He is blam ing the toy manufacturers for the problems that could be solved by firearm education in the Home. He was Only sentenced to three years probation. These of a weapon toy or real in a criminal act is treated in the same manner. Even though the pistol was not real it is the same As if he had used a real pistol in the eyes of the Law.
