Her husband Felt they should not be displayed and you said Dis play them Only with the Daugh Ter s approval As the Mother of a 13-Ycar-old daughter bom with a Cleft lip and palate i personally feel that the pre sur Gery pictures should be included among other family pictures. To exclude them would make the child feel that you were ashamed of the Way she looked at birth. However i think your suggestion of honouring the child s wishes when she is sufficiently mature to express them is a valid . Please let your readers know about the National Cleft palate association. This non profit organization is dedicated to advancing the health welfare and education of children and adults with Cleft palates and craniofacial irregularities. Do i have to be a doctor s wife to get this progesterone therapy prescription filled or should i bring my family members loved ones and friends who Are quite aware of pms to convince this pharmacist now it seems that i must go to a German doctor go through and pay for another diagnosis of pms which is no overnight Quick thing i assure you to get a prescription that can be filled at a German pharmacy. All of this in a language that 1 cannot speak Well enough to explain bouts of insomnia depression irrational behaviour and caffeine binding to name a few. This is not a simple ouch Here problem. I fail to comprehend Why there in t a medical solution Avail Able in the military hospitals for such a real and serious disorder. The prescription for progesterone ther apy is not difficult for a pharmacist to fill granted it has to be made but the most High tech piece of equip ment required is a hot plate. With the Ever increasing amount of women in the military not to mention female family members the army needs to develop a policy on the pharmaceutical and mental treatment of pms. If a woman has pms it can affect every aspect of her life to include her workplace. This is not something women with pms can control however it does t Lessen our Worth As human beings soldiers wives Etc. And we arc deserving of respect and treatment for this problem. The Board disapproved the implementation of the proposed therapy based on results from several care fully controlled studies which showed that control groups of women undergoing progesterone therapy had worse results than women taking placebos.
