The newsletter should keep american Hunters in touch with the Hunting program for . Service Mem ers. Surprisingly it reported that recent Survey responses from american Hunters showed that they wanted an increase in available wild game in West Germany. Written by Usa eur Hunting committee chairman Fred Hollar the newsletter explained that providing More wild game is difficult. He said that quotas were not increasing and that the number of animals that Hunters get now Are basically the same As the last couple years. The German forestry department has experienced a decline in the amount of game available. Under the present agreement Hollar does not foresee an increase in animals to Hunt on state land. However the newsletter added there Are plans to continue procurement of fallow Deer and wild boar on private land. They will be added to the capital game drawing As separate classes of animals. The fallow Deer will continue to follow the state fallow Deer in the drawing and wild boar will come after Chamois. This Way Hunters can select whether they want to Hunt on state land private land or be considered for both. Hollar said they have looked again at the Roe Deer quota and Harvest. The take of animals has not increased Over the past few years although the total number allocated is More than it was five years ago. There is a Large number of Hunters who have refused to Hunt yearling Roe Bucks. Year before last the majority of quota animals that were not harvested were yearlings Hollar said. To overcome this the Hunting committee made a recommendation to the executive Council. Of the three Roe Buck tabs on the game bag limit record one would be Good Only for yearlings. The recommendation was approved and the use of the yearling Tab will continue this executive Council also approved the proposal Mark Swearengen to continue with the yearling Tab. One additional Point indicated by the Survey was that Many american Hunters Are unable to obtain information on where to Hunt. During the coming year As feedback is received from our Hunting and fishing coordinators the association newsletter will carry information on where the Harvest has been Low. Hollar invites Hunters to Send comments and ideas for submission to the Hunting committee or to be included in the association s newsletter. A a right now i done to think the organi action wants us to go to the super owl. They want us to be a contender and Browner who has been to the pro owl five straight years. Browner was relaxing in Navy Blue veats at the american arms hotel in Wiesbaden thursday on the first Stop in tour of . Bases he is taking with a soup of National football league play is. Joining him on the visit Are Cincin Ati tight end Rodney Holman san it Iego linebacker Leslie of Neal and new England defensive end Garin Veris. Although Minnesota an 1 suffered through a losing season Nee 1985, the Vikings have been sacked i their efforts to make it to the super owl for the fifth time in the teams his by. If you re a contender you still sell crets. You still make Money. But if in make it All the Way then they really ave to open up their purse a he said. As an example Browner said the her Hel Walker Trade dealt four Viking arters who were at the end of their con a cts. New contracts would be forced icly Eyota management to Fork Over big the Dallas cowboys traded Walker Ipp Iii no Darrin Nelson line ickers Jesse Solomon and David How cornerback Issiac Holt defensive re ie5i is warts a number one draft cos six conditional draft they re saying its one of the worst nil in Germany trades Ever because we had to give up so much for so Little a Browner said. A a i thought it was a crazy Trade. It was in the Middle of the year How can you teach somebody your system in the Middle of the year a Browner said that putting Walker in the Vikings Backfield meant the offence had to be built around his limitations. A now they have to change everything for him. He a a North South runner and he does no to have any moves. He can to catch the Ball out of the Backfield. You have to tailor everything to him so it la be interesting to see How everything turns out a said Browner who was a 1983 first round draft pick out of Southern Cal. At 6-2 and 210 pounds Browner who has started every game since 1985, uses karate tactics to improve his tackling skills. He has Black belts in Kenpo and Burgei Kai. A i was Able to come up with a whole new tackling style that the Vikings asked my teacher to teach to the Guys. They wanted to know How i was Able to come into the season already in condition and be Able to play hard and it does no to seem like i miss a beat Quot he said. With Browner leading the Way with Bone crunching tackles the Vikings were rated tops in defense in the nil last year. A the nucleus was still there a Browner said explaining How the Vikings reached the playoffs despite the loss of three starters. A we lost three Guys but we still had a really Strong unit. A on defense anything that the coach called we were going to make it work. Even if it was the worst situation and he Calls the worst Call we were going to make it look like the most Brilliant Call Ever the offence did t have the same attitude he said. Because of this offensive coordinator Bob Schnelker received heat. Although head coach Jerry bums endorsed him at the end of the season Schnelker has since been demoted to offensive consultant. A it was not his fault a said Browner. A the Only thing the Guy does is Call plays its up to the Guys to make it happen. If you go to the line with the mentality that the play Isnit going to work it Isnit going to work. There was nothing wrong with the play calling. If the Guys done to want to make it happen what can you do a Browner said a hot offence would push the Vikings to the super bowl a but until we get an offence out there who can score inside the 20, Well just be a contender. How re you going to win a game just kicking Field goals we done to have a quarterback to go in there and cuss everybody Tommy Kramer the 35-year-old backup quarterback was released monday leaving the spot open for Rich Gannon. A a he a ready to go. He a the Only one to score a Point against the 49ers,? Browner said. Gannon connected on 13 of 18 passes for 144 Yards late in the game to set up Minnesota a Only touchdown in its 41-13 loss to san Francisco in january a playoffs. Browner said Kramer a release had to do with his lucrative contract. A it was just a situation where they had to free up some Money. Making a million dollars a year sitting on the Bench they figured they could release him and we could bring in four players a Browner explained. A the was a Good Field general in his time. He had the receivers Sammy White Ahmad Rashad. All those Guys made it look like he was Browner said a court ruling May eventually Cost Mike Lynn his Job As general a amps Dave Didio Minnesota safety Joey Browner. Questions Herschel Walker Deal manager of the Vikings. The ruling has freed up 30 percent of the teams voting rights that had been Frozen Browner said. A so now the people who bought that Stock Are in a position to be Able to implement their voting rights.
