They had travelled to Kenya to Lay a water pipeline for several Masai villages. The pipeline will help the pastoral Masai tribe people who had to walk nine Miles or More each Way for fresh Waler the project Kenya team was made up mostly of members and leaders of Quot club beyond Church youth groups. Youth for Christ and Young Lite stateside ministries and local chapels support the clubs in military communities in West Germany and Italy most of the participants raised a Large part of the Money through activities such As commissary bagging bake sales and car washes. Many Community and Chapel groups also contributed to the project. Participants in project Kenya said their Mission was to Quot get dirty Lor god Quot and that they did in 90-plus degree temperatures and sometimes less than Ideal conditions. The team strove to dig an 8-Kilomeler 5-mile ditch in which to Lay a water line but finished Only four Kilometres to the first water dispensing station the addition of this dispensing station shortens the distance the Masai people have be walk to i p a t cd.
